The Zagora International Film Festival, also known as the Zagora International Trans-Saharan Film Festival, is a cultural and cinematic event held in Zagora, Morocco. Organized by the Zagora Association of Trans-Saharan Film, a non-profit organization, its objectives include promoting Moroccan, Arab, and international cinematographic productions, especially those related to the desert, and fostering exchanges between filmmakers. The festival features competitions for feature films, documentaries, short films, and screenplays, and also offers workshops to train young Moroccans in film-related professions. Screenings take place in the city's cultural center and on a large screen set up in the desert. The festival launched its first edition on May 20, 2004.
