The YOUKI International Youth Media Festival is an annual event held in Wels, Austria, typically in autumn. Established in 1998, it serves as a platform for young people, cinema, music, and media to converge, fostering new talent in the film industry and providing stages for emerging bands from Austria. The festival focuses on showcasing outstanding short films from directors aged between 13 and 27 globally, and annually screens around 90 films, making it one of Austria's significant up-and-coming media festivals with an international scope. Beyond film screenings and an international film competition, YOUKI offers various initiatives, including workshops on film, print media, radio, and internet, as well as media education programs for schools.
