The XVI Festival de Cine: Infancia y Adolescencia is an annual film festival held in Bogotá, Colombia, dedicated to celebrating and promoting audiovisual content for and by children and adolescents. It features over 70 free activities including film screenings, workshops, panels, masterclasses, and laboratories, with events taking place in various venues such as the Cinemateca de Bogotá and public libraries. The festival, which will be held from September 2 to 6, 2025, also includes the BAKATÁ LAB, an academic and industrial training program, and the Premio Festicine, a competition for films produced by children and adolescents from Colombia. Its core mission is to empower young people as protagonists of their own stories and to foster their cognitive, creative, and social development through film.
