The Worldwide Women's Film Festival (WWFF) is an event dedicated to supporting, educating, and empowering women in filmmaking, while also highlighting women's stories and diverse experiences across all genders. Co-founded in 2017 by Kim and Eva Louis, the festival aims to shine a light on films with women in at least one key creative role, such as writer, producer, director, cinematographer, editor, or composer. Although open to all filmmakers, the WWFF prioritizes films meeting these criteria and encourages submissions in various genres and lengths. The festival was postponed in 2021 due to Covid-19 but resumed in subsequent years, with an upcoming event scheduled for March 6-8, 2026. It includes film screenings, workshops on topics like independent film distribution, and panel discussions.
