The WAVES International Short Film Festival (WISFF) is an Indian film festival primarily held in Goa, known for showcasing independent and world mini-cinema, with an expansion to Dehradun. Organized by Shree Mudra and supported by the Department of Information and Publicity of the Government of Goa, the festival aims to inspire creativity, expression, and innovation in short filmmaking, offering a platform for both seasoned professionals and emerging filmmakers. The festival features screenings of short films, music videos, short documentaries, and animated shorts, and includes a "60 Hours Film Making Challenge". It celebrates cinematic excellence by recognizing and awarding exceptional talent across various categories, with attendance often free and open to all after a registration process.
