VIDEOFEST 2K16 refers to the 29th annual Dallas VideoFest, which took place around October 20, 2016, at the Angelika Film Center & Café – Dallas. This edition of the festival showcased approximately 125 screenings of local, regional, and internationally produced media art programs. Dallas VideoFest was known for specializing in independent, alternative, and non-commercial media, presenting works that were often hard to find elsewhere. Its programming included experimental video, documentaries, shorts, feature-length films, animation, as well as panel discussions and new technology displays.
