Create ŻUBROFFKA Laurels

The ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival is an annual cinematic event held in Białystok and the Podlaskie region of Poland, known for building cultural bridges between different global regions through film. Evolving from an intimate gathering, it has grown into the largest film event in northeastern Poland, celebrating diversity and offering an open platform for creators. The festival features numerous competitive categories, including "Eastward Window" and "Whole Wide World" for international short films, alongside "Feature.pl", "Animation.pl", and "Documentary.pl" for Polish filmmakers. Other categories like "On the Edge" for experimental films, "Music Video", "Midnight Shorts", and "Kids" are open to both national and international entries. The main award is the Grand Prix of the Festival, with additional prizes for specific categories, and a "Wild Bison Award" decided by the audience. Beyond film screenings, ŻUBROFFKA also incorporates workshops, international film breakfasts, panel discussions, exhibitions, and concerts of electronic and club music.
