The Together! Disability Film Festival is an annual international event that provides a platform for strong storytelling, highlighting the lived experiences of Deaf and Disabled people from diverse backgrounds. Established in East London in 2012 and moving online in 2020, the festival screens films by Deaf/Disabled filmmakers and those with a strong central Deaf/Disabled character, often featuring world or international premieres. The festival takes place annually in December as part of Disability History Month, utilizing a "D" rating system to acknowledge the contributions of Deaf/Disabled individuals in film creation, and presents Kat Awards for best films.
