The TeleVisionale – Film- und Serienfestival Weimar, formerly known as the TeleVisionale – Film- und Serienfestival Baden-Baden, is an annual event organized by the Deutsche Akademie der Darstellenden Künste and the broadcaster 3sat. Focused on German-language television films and series, it presents a selection of fictional works from public and private broadcasters and streaming services in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The festival awards prizes such as the Fernsehfilmpreis der Deutschen Akademie der Darstellenden Künste, the Deutscher Serienpreis, and the 3satPublikumspreis, among others. After many years in Baden-Baden, the festival relocated to Weimar in 2025, with events primarily held in the Weimarhalle. Its history dates back to the "Fernseh-Akademiepreis" first awarded in 1964, and the festival was formally established in Baden-Baden in 1989.
