The Tallgrass Film Festival is an annual event held in Wichita, Kansas, dedicated to showcasing independent films. Founded in 2003 by Timothy Gruver, the festival is operated by the non-profit Tallgrass Film Association. Recognized as Kansas's largest independent film festival, it has been named a "Coolest Film Fest" and a "Film Festival Worth the Entry Fee" by MovieMaker Magazine. The festival presents a variety of film programs across multiple venues in downtown Wichita, including the Orpheum Theatre.
