The Souss International Short Film Festival is an annual event held in Ait Melloul, Agadir, Morocco. Organized by the Professional Comedy for Artistic Creativity in partnership with the Ait Melloul Commune, the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Humanities, and supported by the Moroccan Film Center, the festival focuses on themes such as cinema, human values, coexistence, and the elimination of violence. It accepts short narrative and documentary films, provided they are not racist or carry hate speech. The 16th edition, scheduled for early May 2024, features categories for short fiction and documentary films, with awards including the Souss International Short Fiction Film Award and the Souss Award for Best Cinematography of Short Documentary.
