The Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization founded in 1997 and headquartered in Sonoma, California. It is an annual five-day cinematic event held every March in the Sonoma Valley, approximately 45 minutes north of San Francisco. The festival screens over 90 hand-picked films, including full-length features, documentaries, and shorts across various categories such as animation, comedy, culinary, dramatic, and foreign. SIFF has been recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as "One of the 25 Coolest Festivals" and by USA Today as one of "America's Top Ten Destination Film Festivals." The festival is also known for its integration of film with the region's food and wine culture, and for attracting notable industry professionals and talent.
