The Sofia Pride Film Fest (SPFF) is Bulgaria's sole LGBTIQ+ film festival, established in Sofia in 2010 by the LGBTI organisation Deystvie. The festival showcases a selection of world LGBTIQ+ cinema and is an integral part of the official Sofia Pride calendar. Beyond film screenings, the event includes discussions on LGBTIQ+ rights in Bulgaria and aims to foster community organizing through cinema in a country known for widespread homophobia and discrimination. The festival awards prizes for Best Feature Film and Best Short Film.
