The Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) is a competitive film festival in China, approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and held annually, alternating between the cities of Xi'an and Fuzhou. Established in 2014 by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, its primary aim is to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation among countries involved in China's Belt and Road Initiative, while also fostering the development of the Chinese audiovisual industry. The festival features the "Golden Silk Road Awards" across various categories, including Best Film and Best Director, judged by an international jury. It also includes sections for international panorama, cross-strait film exchanges, and screens a diverse selection of films from numerous countries and regions.
