Serile Filmului Românesc (SFR), also known as Evenings of the Romanian Films, is a prominent annual film festival held in Iași, Romania, dedicated to promoting Romanian cinematography. The festival includes a national short film competition titled "Competiția națională de scurtmetraje «S'Curte la SFR»," which provides a platform for young Romanian filmmakers to showcase their work. Initiated in 2010 by the Association of Journalism Students from Iași and organized by the ARTIS Association since 2018, SFR aims to reintroduce Romanian audiences to local films, directors, and actors, and to encourage attendance at cinemas. The Institutul Cultural Român (ICR) supports the festival and presents awards for excellence.
