The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) is an annual film festival held in Seattle, Washington, United States, since 1976. It is recognized as one of the largest film festivals globally, showcasing a diverse range of independent and foreign films, as well as documentaries. SIFF is an Academy Award-qualifying festival for short films and typically presents over 250 features, documentaries, and short films to an audience of approximately 90,000 annually. The festival also operates SIFF Cinema, offering year-round programming at its four screens in Seattle, and has awarded the Golden Space Needle award to its most popular film since 1985.
