The Filmfest Schleswig-Holstein is an annual film festival held in Kiel, Germany, which has been showcasing films since 1993. The festival focuses on films from and about the state of Schleswig-Holstein, requiring entries to have a connection to the region through their storyline, filming location, origin, or funding. It features a diverse program including feature films, experimental works, animations, and transmedia projects, with a traditional emphasis on documentary films. Originally biennial, the festival has been held annually since 2001 and is organized by the Filmwerkstatt Kiel of Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Filmkultur Schleswig-Holstein e.V., and Kino in der Pumpe Kiel.
