The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) is an annual film festival held in Santa Barbara, California, United States. It is recognized as an Academy Award-qualifying festival. The festival celebrates cinema, often featuring world and U.S. premieres, and hosts tributes and panels with notable film industry figures. The SBIFF operates its own arthouse theaters, including the Riviera Theatre & Film Center, and has been involved in developing new film centers. In 2025, the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival was dedicated to fire-ravaged Los Angeles and featured a fundraising partnership with Direct Relief.
