The Rooftop Film Festival is an annual US summer independent film festival organized since July 1997 by filmmaker Mark Elijah Rosenberg. The non-profit festival screens independent films in outdoor locations, primarily in New York City, with a focus on community and collaboration. Featuring more than 35 screenings in parks, along piers, and other scenic spots, the festival showcases short films and underexposed feature films from around the globe, including world premieres and award-winners.
