Q-Fest refers to several film festivals with a focus on LGBTQ+ themes. Among them are QFest: The Houston International LGBTQ Film Festival, which began in 1997 as the Houston Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (HGLFF) and was renamed QFest in 2007, dedicated to promoting media arts by, about, or of interest to the LGBTQ community. Another is the QFest LGBTQ Film Festival in New Jersey, produced by QSpot, one of New Jersey's largest LGBTQ community centers, supporting and promoting LGBTQ film and digital media. Additionally, Q-Fest is also a campus queer film festival hosted by UW-Eau Claire, celebrating queer resistance, advocacy, activism, and education.
