The Pratibimb Film Festival (PFF) was established in 2008 by the Department of Communication Studies at New Arts Commerce & Science College, with the aim of promoting awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the art of cinema. It functions as a national-level competition that showcases short films and documentaries, encouraging both student and independent filmmakers by providing a platform for their work. The festival includes specific categories for students and an open category, with film durations typically under 30 minutes and requiring subtitles in Hindi or English. In addition to the film festival, Pratibimb also hosts a National Photography Competition, which began in 2023.
