The Port Townsend Film Festival is a non-profit organization established in 2000, presenting films and supporting filmmakers through various programming. Held annually in mid-September in Port Townsend, Washington, it is recognized as the oldest and largest film festival on the Olympic Peninsula. The festival screens 50-70 independent films across 5-8 indoor venues within the walkable National Historic District, and also features free outdoor movies. It attracts approximately 2,000 attendees, along with filmmakers and special guests, and offers events like filmmaking workshops, panel discussions, and a Filmmakers Parade. The organization also hosts an annual Women & Film Festival in April.
