The Festival Internacional Piriápolis de Película is an annual international film festival held at the Argentino Hotel in Piriápolis, Uruguay. It serves as a significant platform for independent film productions by both national and international filmmakers, showcasing a selection of short, medium, and feature films across various genres with free admission. The festival also features an Ibero-American Short Film Competition, aiming to stimulate and disseminate short film production in the region, and includes tributes, master classes, and workshops. The 22nd edition took place from October 17 to 19, presenting around 70 productions from 16 countries.
