The Philadelphia Latino Arts & Film Festival (PHLAFF) was established in 2012 and is the Greater Philadelphia region's only festival dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging and established Latine/x/a/o filmmakers. The festival aims to uplift these creatives and filmmakers by presenting the richness and cultural breadth of their communities. PHLAFF's programming explores the diverse experiences and realities of Latine/x/a/o peoples, evolving to meet the needs of its artists. Beyond film screenings, PHLAFF also incorporates exhibitions, spoken word, dance performances, lectures, and community gatherings, acting as a full cultural season. The 14th annual festival in 2025 featured six weeks of programming, concluding with screenings, live music, and exhibitions highlighting Latino culture.
