The Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival (PUFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit alternative film festival founded in 2016 by disabled and neurodivergent artists, aiming to bring new and undiscovered films to cinema fans in the Philadelphia region. While known for its horror selections, PUFF features an eclectic mix of genres, including sci-fi, action, documentary, bizarre, and drama, showcasing both local and international films and music videos. The festival is 100% volunteer-run and offers an affordable and safe space for filmmakers whose works push boundaries and challenge conventions, with many selected feature films going on to receive independent distribution. In 2024, PUFF celebrated its ninth year, and in 2025 it will mark its tenth anniversary with "PUFFX" from October 1st through October 5th at Theatre Exile.
