The New York City Independent Film Festival, also known as NYCIndieFF, is an annual film festival held in New York City. Founded in 2009 by Dennis Cieri and Bonnie Rush, the festival aims to showcase the best in independent cinema, including short films, feature films, documentaries, music videos, and animated works. It strives to provide an open and nurturing environment for artists and filmmakers, offering networking opportunities, panels, classes, and discussion groups. Screenings typically take place in the historic center of NYC, Time Square. Since its inception in 2010, the festival has screened over 1,800 movies from 81 countries.
