The Nederlands Film Festival (Dutch: Nederlands Film Festival) is an annual film festival held in Utrecht, Netherlands, typically in September and October. Founded in 1981 by filmmaker Jos Stelling, the festival serves as a unique platform to showcase a wide range of Dutch films, documentaries, series, and digital productions. It features various genres including short and feature films, arthouse and mainstream cinema, documentaries, and animation, alongside television and interactive projects. The festival culminates in the awarding of the Golden Calves (Gouden Kalveren), which are the national film prizes of the Netherlands, recognizing excellence in Dutch cinema. The 45th edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 3, 2025.
