The Nastri d'Argento (Silver Ribbons) is Italy's oldest active film award, presented annually since 1946 by the National Union of Italian Film Journalists (SNGCI). While not a film festival itself, the main awards ceremony is often held during the Taormina Film Fest in Sicily, at the Ancient Theater of Taormina. The awards recognize excellence across various categories, including feature films, short films (Corti d'argento), and television series (Nastri d'Argento Grandi Serie).
