The Muyuna Floating Jungle Film Festival, also known as Muyuna Fest, is an international film festival founded in Iquitos, Peru, within the Amazon region. It aims to amplify jungle-based storytelling, empower Indigenous creators, and promote climate action through audiovisual sovereignty, with screenings that often take place on a unique floating stage, allowing audiences to watch from canoes. The festival focuses on intercultural connections, community-based workshops, and environmental dialogues, often transforming public spaces, like the Belén neighborhood, into cinematic venues. The 2026 edition is scheduled to run from May 11–24, featuring both in-person and online screenings, and includes a "Rainforests of the World" program.
