The Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" is an annual film festival held in November in Minsk, Belarus, and is recognized as the country's largest and most prestigious cinema event. Established in 1994, it was initially known as the International Film Festival of CIS and Baltic Countries until 2002. The festival received temporary accreditation from the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in 2011, achieving permanent accreditation in 2013 as a competitive specialized festival for films from Baltic and Central-Asian countries, Central and Eastern Europe, and Russia. Its program features competitive sections for feature films, documentaries, animation, and the "Listapadzik" children and youth film competition, with the top honor being the "Golden Listapad" award for Best Film.
