The Festival de Guión Cinematográfico (Screenwriting Film Festival) is an initiative by the civil association Escribe Cine, dedicated to promoting the development and study of cinematic screenwriting. The festival awards an economic incentive and a "Mejor Guión del Festival" (Best Screenplay of the Festival) statuette to the winning screenplay.
