The Maryland Film Festival (MdFF) is an annual international film festival launched in 1999 and primarily held in Baltimore, Maryland, at the historic SNF Parkway Theatre in the Station North Arts & Entertainment District. The festival screens a diverse range of international film and video work across all lengths and genres, including features, shorts, VR, AR, and interactive formats. It is known for its association with filmmaker John Waters, who serves on its board of directors and hosts a film each year. MovieMaker Magazine has recognized the MdFF as one of the "25 Coolest Film Festivals In the World."
