The Lift-Off Film Festival is a global network of film festivals dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers and connecting their work with international audiences and film markets. Established in 2010 with the launch of the London Lift-Off Film Festival, the network has since expanded to include events in numerous cities worldwide, such as Berlin, Manchester, Austin, Tokyo, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, and Amsterdam. The festivals aim to launch filmmaking careers, offering a hybrid approach of physical and online screenings, feedback sessions, and networking opportunities. Winning projects from the individual festivals are considered for the Lift-Off Season Awards, with nominations often screened at Pinewood Studios.
