The Liberty Film Festival was an American film festival founded by independent filmmakers Jason Apuzzo and Govindini Murty in July 2004, and it remained active until 2008. Primarily taking place in West Hollywood, California, the festival screened over 80 films and hosted tributes to various directors and actors during its operational years. While the festival itself is no longer active, its efforts continued through Libertas Film Magazine, founded in January 2005.
