L’Italia dei Visionari is an annual call for proposals from individual artists and independent companies working in contemporary theater, dance, and performance art. The initiative is promoted by a network of Italian theaters and festivals, including Kilowatt Festival, Festival Le Città Visibili, and POLIS Teatro Festival. Local groups of non-professional "Visionaries" in each participating city select works for the 2025/2026 or 2026/2027 programming of the involved entities, with selected groups receiving a performance fee.
