The KROK International Animated Films Festival is an annual international animated film festival, notable as one of the principal animation festivals in the territory of the former Soviet Union. Uniquely, it is organized as a river cruise, taking place in Russia in even years and Ukraine in odd years. The name "KROK" translates to "step" in Ukrainian, and the festival was first held as a separate event in 1989. Since 2019, the festival has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the cancellation of its 25th edition in 2020.
