The Journées Cinématographiques Méditerranéennes de Chenini (JCMC) is a film festival held in Chenini, Gabès, Tunisia. Established in 2005 by the Association Formes et Couleurs Oasiennes, the festival serves as a platform for dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean and raises awareness about cultural, social, and environmental challenges through cinema. The 20th edition, themed "The Right to the Future," is scheduled for October 2025 and features films addressing ecology, climate, education, and social justice. It includes a film competition, panels, workshops, and aims to foster understanding and improved relations among civil society actors in Mediterranean countries.
