The Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) is an annual film festival held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, dedicated to the development and promotion of Asian cinema. Established in 2006, the festival has consistently partnered with the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC), a worldwide organization with 30 member countries. JAFF aims to introduce Asian cinema to a wider audience in Indonesia and serves as a platform for the intersection of arts, culture, and tourism. The festival presents various awards, including the prestigious Golden Hanoman Award, Silver Hanoman Award, NETPAC Award, and Blencong Award for short films. It features several sections such as Main Competition, Light of Asia, Indonesian Screen Awards, Panorama, and Asian Perspectives, showcasing a diverse range of Asian films. Evolving from a community-driven event, JAFF has grown into a professionally structured festival, expanding its film selections and incorporating dedicated curators and programmers. In 2024, JAFF debuted the JAFF Market, an initiative designed to foster networking and collaboration within the Indonesian film industry. The 20th edition of the festival took place from November 29 to December 6, 2025.
