The Jena Fulldome Festival is an international event dedicated to showcasing and celebrating fulldome productions, held annually at the Zeiss-Planetarium Jena in Germany. Established in 2007, the festival presents a selection of the best 360° films, including works from professional producers, emerging talents, and independent artists from around the world. It serves as a significant forum for discussing innovations in fulldome technology, media art, virtual reality, and 3D sound. The festival culminates with the presentation of the prestigious JANUS-Awards, often regarded as the "Oscars" of the fulldome industry.
