The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), established in 1952, is an annual film festival held in Goa, on the western coast of India. It aims to provide a common platform for the cinemas of the world to project the excellence of film art, foster understanding and appreciation of film cultures, and promote friendship and cooperation among people globally. Since 2004, IFFI has been permanently held in Goa and is jointly organized by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, and the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG). The festival screens a diverse selection of international and Indian films, including premieres, and features sections like International Competition, Best Debut Feature Film, and curated packages. It is accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF) in the Competitive Feature Films Category, making it the only South Asian film festival with this accreditation. IFFI also includes a Film Bazaar, masterclasses, and awards such as the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award. The 56th edition of IFFI took place from November 20 to 28, 2025.
