The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), established in 1952, is an annual film festival primarily held in Goa, on India's western coast. Co-hosted by the National Film Development Corporation of India and the Government of Goa, the festival aims to provide a global platform for cinematic excellence, foster understanding of diverse film cultures, and promote international friendship and cooperation. Since 2004, Goa has served as its permanent venue, typically hosting the event in November and December. The festival features various competitive and curated sections, including an international competition and Indian Panorama, and awards prestigious accolades such as the Golden Peacock and the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award. The 56th edition is scheduled from November 20 to 28, 2025, in Panaji, Goa.
