The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), established in 1952, is an annual film festival primarily held in Goa, India. It is jointly organized by the National Film Development Corporation of India, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and the state Government of Goa. Recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF), IFFI aims to provide a common platform for global cinema, showcasing the excellence of film art, fostering appreciation of diverse film cultures, and promoting international friendship and cooperation. Notably, it holds the distinction of being the first international film festival held in Asia.
