The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), often referred to as the International Film Festival of Goa due to its permanent venue since 2004, is an annual film festival established in 1952. Held in Goa, India, the festival is jointly organized by the National Film Development Corporation of India (under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) and the state Government of Goa. Its primary aim is to offer a common platform for global cinema, fostering the understanding and appreciation of diverse film cultures while promoting international friendship and cooperation. IFFI is the sole film festival in South Asia accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF) in the Competitive Feature Films Category, and its major award is the Golden Peacock for Best Feature Film.
