The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) is an annual film festival held in Los Angeles, California, showcasing films from and about the Indian diaspora. It was founded in 2003 by Christina Marouda as a nonprofit organization to promote a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture. The festival features a diverse program of narrative, documentary, and animated works, including both features and shorts, with a focus on innovative films from South Asia and its diasporas. In addition to screenings, IFFLA hosts galas, networking events, panel discussions, and industry sessions, such as IFFLA Industry Days, which connects South Asian filmmakers with Hollywood executives. The festival also presents awards, including Grand Jury and Audience Choice prizes for Best Feature and Best Short.
