The IFP Phoenix 48 Hour Film Challenge is an annual filmmaking competition organized by IFP Phoenix, a non-profit organization and program of the Phoenix Film Foundation. This challenge tasks teams with writing, producing, and editing a short film within a 48-hour timeframe, based on specific parameters provided at the kickoff. All submitted films are screened, with on-time submissions eligible for competition and various awards. IFP Phoenix, formerly the Phoenix Film Project, is also a sibling organization to the Phoenix Film Festival.
