The Independent Film Festival Boston (IFFBoston), also known as IFFB, is a non-profit film festival established in 2003 by the Independent Film Society of Boston. Held annually each April, the festival showcases a selection of narrative features, documentary features, and short films from local, national, and global talent. IFFBoston has gained recognition as the premier film festival in New England and has been lauded by publications such as the Boston Society of Film Critics, Boston Magazine, and MovieMaker Magazine. The festival also conducts year-round screenings and events in various venues across the Greater Boston area, including the Somerville, Brattle, and Coolidge Corner Theatres.
