Hollywood Shortsfest is a film festival dedicated to promoting the work of emerging filmmakers to global audiences by screening independent short films across all genres. While Official Selection films are featured at a live event, Honorable Mention films are presented through a virtual screening. Following each virtual event, the festival awards a special HSF Best of Virtual Competition Award, which includes a cash prize. The judging panel is comprised of professionals from various sectors of the film industry, and submitted films must be 40 minutes or less.
