The Gippsland International Film Festival (GIFF) is an upcoming film festival aimed at enhancing film culture accessibility in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Spearheaded by Alana Auden and Edward Yates, the festival's inaugural run is scheduled for March 13-15, 2026, and will feature a program of local and international short films. Screenings are planned for the West Gippsland Arts Centre and community locations such as Rokeby and Noojee, including a unique outdoor cinema event projecting films onto a steam train. GIFF intends to present awards across multiple categories, recognizing excellence in Australian, regionally made, Gippsland made, and international short films.
