Gerakan Sineas Pelajar Sidoarjo (GESPER), also known as Festival GESPER, is a regional film festival held in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, that provides a platform for high school students to express their ideas and stories through creative short films. Collaborating with the Communication Science Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (Umsida), the Sidoarjo Film Committee, and the Sidoarjo Arts Council (Dakesda), the festival aims to appreciate and develop the potential of young filmmakers across the Sidoarjo Regency. It focuses on showcasing student work rather than operating as a traditional competition, with a theme such as "Student Voices, Sidoarjo Stories" encouraging participants to explore local experiences and values.
