The Galway Film Fleadh is an international film festival held annually in Galway, Ireland, every July. Founded in 1989 as part of the Galway Arts Festival, it is described as Ireland's leading film festival. The event serves as a platform for new films, showcasing both domestic Irish cinema and international works, including feature and short films. Alongside film screenings, the Fleadh incorporates the Galway Film Fair, a marketplace designed to connect filmmakers with potential producers, financiers, and distributors. A Junior Film Fleadh, oriented towards youth and student audiences, is also conducted in November. In 2022, MovieMaker magazine recognized the festival on its list of the "50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee".
